IN MEMORY of TOM DORAN
Full Description:
Even if you did not know Tom by name, you probably knew him by sight, he must have been the tallest man in Medford and very easy to spot. Tom was active at the schools, very active in the Patchogue/Medford Father's Club and youth sports programs. He was an umpire at baseball games and an official at football games. You could see tom at 7/11 with his morning coffee chatting with friends or at Home Depot where he worked for the last 10 years or so. I had the good fortune to work with Tom for many years at what was the New York Telephone Co. (Verizon) and was impressed with his dedication and desire to do the right thing. Tom passed away last Tuesday after a lengthly illness. He will be missed especially by his family, but also by his many friends and the community he served so well. Here's to TOM DORAN, a good person.
